About Non Nuoc Beach

Non Nuoc Beach sits at the southern end of Da Nang's magnificent coastline, directly beneath the famous Marble Mountains — five dramatic marble-and-limestone peaks named after the five elements: Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth. The beach offers a quieter, more contemplative alternative to the busy resort section of My Khe, with clear water, consistent gentle waves, and one of Vietnam's most spectacular natural backdrops.

The surrounding area is renowned for its centuries-old stone-carving tradition. Walking through Non Nuoc village adjacent to the beach, visitors pass dozens of workshops where artisans create intricate sculptures from the locally quarried marble. The Marble Mountains themselves are riddled with Buddhist sanctuaries, ancient pagodas, and cave temples carved into the rock — a visit to the mountains followed by an afternoon at the beach makes for one of Da Nang's most rewarding full-day experiences.

Snorkeling conditions at Non Nuoc are good during the calm summer months, with underwater visibility extending to several metres over sandy bottom and small coral patches. The beach is particularly popular with photographers drawn by the dramatic contrast of white sand, turquoise water, and the misty marble peaks rising immediately behind the shoreline. Sunrise here, with the mountains glowing pink against the pale sea, is truly unforgettable.
