About Phra Nang Beach

Phra Nang Beach (also known as Phra Nang Cave Beach) is widely considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Thailand and frequently ranks among the world's best. Accessible only by boat or via a jungle path from Railay, this crescent of powder-white sand is framed by towering limestone cliffs and luminous emerald water. At the eastern end, the Princess Cave (Tham Phra Nang) is a sacred shrine adorned with offerings.

The clear water and coral formations just offshore make it excellent for snorkeling, while longtail boats anchored in the bay add to the quintessentially Thai scene. Despite its fame, early mornings and late afternoons offer moments of relative solitude beneath the massive cliff walls.
