About Long Beach

Long Beach (Hat Yao) is the most beautiful swimming and snorkeling beach on Koh Phi Phi Don, the main inhabited island of the Phi Phi archipelago. Located on the southeast coast, Long Beach is a 700-metre stretch of fine white sand with crystal-clear water over a shallow reef that's home to blacktip reef sharks, sea turtles, and vibrant tropical fish. The beach is quieter and more relaxed than the bustling Tonsai Bay area, accessed by a 20-minute longtail boat ride or a jungle trail hike.

A handful of resorts and beach bars provide refreshments while maintaining a laid-back tropical island atmosphere. Sunset over the surrounding karst islands is breathtaking.
