With its wide sandy stretch, regular lifeguard presence, and a relaxed promenade lined with chiringuitos serving cold drinks and tapas, Somorrostro offers a welcoming slice of authentic Barcelona beach life that locals truly cherish.
The beach is flat and easily accessible along the promenade. Wheelchair ramps connect to the main walkway and public transport stops nearby.
Take metro L4 to Ciutadella–Vila Olímpica or Barceloneta station, then a 5–10 minute walk along the promenade. Cycling along the seafront is also a great option.
