Las Salinas is Ibiza's most fashionable and ecologically significant beach. Stretching alongside the UNESCO-listed Ses Salines Natural Park — a vast wetland of former salt pans teeming with flamingos and migratory birds — the beach combines natural beauty with Ibiza's legendary lifestyle.
The beach itself is long and wide, with fine white sand and clear turquoise water. The southern end is home to several of Ibiza's most iconic beach clubs, known for their glamorous atmosphere, world-class DJs in the afternoons, and superb fresh seafood. Despite the party reputation, the northern end remains calmer and more natural.
One of the beach's most unusual and wonderful features is the proximity of the salt flats. Flamingos can often be spotted wading in the pink-tinged lagoons just metres from the back of the beach — an extraordinary juxtaposition of wild nature and beach club glamour.
Flat sandy access. The beach is mostly accessible, though facilities for mobility-impaired visitors are limited at the natural end.
Paid car park at the beach entrance. Bus service from Ibiza Town in summer. Cycling from Ibiza Town (about 7 km) along a dedicated path is popular.
