About Cala Millor Beach

Cala Millor is one of Mallorca's most celebrated resort beaches, stretching nearly two kilometres along the island's east coast between the towns of Cala Millor and Sa Coma. Its broad expanse of fine, golden sand and uncommonly calm, clear water have made it a perennial favourite for families and beach holiday seekers from across Europe. The beach faces due east, which means it catches the first light of sunrise in a spectacular fashion.

The promenade behind the beach is well-maintained and lined with hotels, restaurants, bars, and shops โ€” everything that a classic Mediterranean resort needs. Sun loungers and parasol rentals are available across much of the beach, and water sports concessions offer pedal boats, kayaks, and windsurfing lessons. Lifeguards are on duty throughout the peak season, making it one of the safest beaches on the island for families with young children.

Despite its resort character, Cala Millor has not lost its natural appeal. The eastern bay location shields it from the prevailing winds and the water stays notably calm even in mid-summer, when other beaches around the island can experience choppier conditions. The Parc de la Mar natural area at the southern end of the beach offers a quieter retreat within walking distance for those seeking a slightly wilder environment.
