About Cala Comte

Cala Comte is widely regarded as the most beautiful beach in Ibiza, and it's easy to see why. This collection of small turquoise coves on the island's west coast features water in impossible shades of blue and turquoise, set against a backdrop of low rocky cliffs and tiny offshore islands.

The beach itself is a mix of white sand and pebbles, divided into several interconnected coves by rocky outcrops. The water is extraordinarily clear — you can see the sandy bottom at depths of several metres. Snorkelling around the rocks and smaller islands rewards with schools of fish and vibrant underwater scenery.

Cala Comte is most famous for its sunsets. As the sun drops towards the small islands of ses Bledes and s'Illa des Bosc on the horizon, the sky turns through shades of gold, orange, and pink — creating one of the Mediterranean's most celebrated natural spectacles. Beach bars fill with visitors from across the island every evening to witness this daily show.
