Access beneath the natural arches at Legzira is ONLY possible at low tide. The sea fills the coves completely at high tide. Always check local tide tables before visiting and never remain in an archway when the tide is turning. Getting caught by a rising tide here is dangerous.
Legzira is one of Morocco's most photographed natural landmarks — towering red-ochre arches carved by millennia of Atlantic erosion, revealing secret coves and clear rock pools beneath. The beach is 12km north of Sidi Ifni, accessible by a short cliff path. Well away from any major tourist circuit, it attracts travellers who know about it but rarely becomes truly crowded.
