Safi's beaches are rarely on the standard tourist circuit, which makes them genuinely quiet destinations for those willing to make the journey. Lalla Fatna sits 12km north of Safi city and is defined by its marabout shrine — a brilliant white tomb of a local saint perched above the shore. Outside the annual religious Moussem festival, the beach sees very few visitors and retains a deeply authentic, unhurried atmosphere.
