About White Beach

White Beach is Boracay's crown jewel and one of Southeast Asia's most celebrated stretches of sand. Extending for 4 kilometres along the island's western shore, it earned the title of "World's Best Beach" multiple times for its extraordinary combination of powdery-soft white sand, kaleidoscopic turquoise water, and spectacular sunset views. The beach is divided informally into three stations — the livelier Station 1 and 2 in the centre, and the quieter, more residential Station 3 to the south.

Despite its popularity, White Beach maintains a remarkable quality of water and sand thanks to strict environmental regulations introduced after the island's 2018 rehabilitation. Vehicle traffic is banned from the beachfront road, keeping the atmosphere pedestrian-friendly. Beach vendors operate in designated zones, and the sand is cleaned daily. The result is a beach that manages to be simultaneously vibrant and visually pristine.

The best time to visit is between November and May during the dry Amihan season, when northeast trade winds keep conditions calm and clear. From June to October the habagat (southwest monsoon) can bring rougher seas and rain, though prices drop significantly and crowds thin dramatically — a trade-off many visitors gladly accept.
