Mirissa offers two excellent snorkelling experiences: the main beach has a shallow reef where gear can be rented directly from the beach, while Secret Beach across the headland has pristine, undisturbed coral with a higher diversity of marine life. The best snorkelling conditions are from November to April when water visibility is at its clearest.
