Punta Prosciutto regularly ranks among Italy's most beautiful beaches, and it's easy to see why. A vast expanse of powder-white sand meets Caribbean-blue water so clear you can see every detail of the seabed. The beach is backed by protected sand dunes and Mediterranean scrub, creating an almost tropical landscape in the heart of southern Italy.
Part of the Porto Cesareo Marine Protected Area, the beach has both free sections and lido services. The shallow, warm water extends far from shore, making it perfect for families. Snorkeling is excellent among the rocky areas where the reef begins.
Easy flat access from parking areas. Wheelchair-friendly up to the sand edge.
Drive to Porto Cesareo area (about 40 km from Lecce, 80 km from Brindisi airport). Several car parks serve the beach.
