Cala Goloritzé is a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the Mediterranean's most spectacular beaches. Accessible only by boat or a 90-minute hike down a steep canyon path, this pristine cove features a dramatic limestone pinnacle (Aguglia) rising from the turquoise sea. The beach is composed of brilliant white pebbles and the water is an unreal shade of transparent blue-green. Rock climbing on the Aguglia is world-renowned, and snorkeling reveals an underwater world of exceptional clarity.
Swimming is superb here — the water temperature in summer reaches 25°C. Because of its protected status, beach umbrellas and towels covering more than a small area are not permitted, preserving the cove's wild beauty.
Requires a steep 90-minute hike or boat access only. Not wheelchair accessible.
By boat from Cala Gonone (40 min) or Santa Maria Navarrese. By foot from Golgo Plateau (90 min hike). No road access.
