About Psarou Beach

Psarou Beach is Mykonos's most exclusive and glamorous beach, where superyachts anchor offshore and celebrities relax beside crystal-clear water. The small, sheltered bay creates exceptionally calm and clear swimming conditions, making it one of the best beaches on the island for water quality.

Home to the famous Nammos Beach Club — one of the world's most exclusive beach venues — Psarou attracts the international jet set. However, a small free public section remains, and the snorkeling around the bay's rocky edges is excellent. The beach's sheltered aspect means it's protected from the notorious Meltemi winds.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Psarou Beach only for the rich?
The Nammos area is very premium (€100+ for sunbeds). But there is a small free public section on the right side of the beach.
Is the water really that clear?
Yes — Psarou has some of the clearest water in the Cyclades due to its protected, sheltered bay.
Is it good for snorkeling?
Surprisingly great. The rocky edges of the bay have excellent marine life and underwater visibility.
