Surfing Beaches in Bodrum

Bitez and Gümbet both benefit from the reliable afternoon meltemi wind that sweeps down the Bodrum peninsula each summer. Both bays have established windsurfing and kitesurfing schools with certified instructors and full equipment rental. Bitez has the more relaxed atmosphere; Gümbet is closer to Bodrum town and busier. Both are excellent for beginner and intermediate wind sport enthusiasts.
