Beyond Agadir's busy resort strip, the region hides genuinely quiet beaches that see only a fraction of the visitor traffic. Both Imourane to the south and Anza to the north offer empty Atlantic shores with no beach vendors, minimal facilities, and authentic Moroccan coastal character. These are beaches for those who prefer their own company — or the company of a handful of local fishermen — over the organised chaos of the main resort beaches.
Imourane Beach
Tranquil golden-sand beach 15km south of Agadir. Far from the resort crowds, with calm Atlantic waters and few visitors even in high season.
Anza Beach
Rocky Atlantic surf beach north of Agadir city. Dramatic coastal scenery and consistent waves in a genuinely uncrowded setting well away from the tourist resort zone.
